Hangin' wid da Ponies

It has rained and rained and rained here and Mum had a sick friend to visit at the hospital so I had been going through barn withdrawl.

Fortunately, we headed out there on Saturday and I got to play in the mud. Mum was out pretending to be a photographer with the ponies so I got to wander around with her and bark and chase and splash and have a grand old time. I took it upon myself to try to make the ponies ears go right. So I would run and bark to get them to look at me so mum could snap the photos.

Here's me with Em-me's pony Mister Chief - he's big and dirty. But he likes the B-dawg.

Note: I did not give mum permission to be snapping MY photo. The hair STILL HAS NOT GROWN LONG ENOUGH. but she was sneaky like that. Mums - you can't live with 'em, you can't eat kibble with out 'em.

I had a great time spending all my energy running running running. After several days cooped up indoors, I just had to be free. This is me moving so fast, even the camera couldn't stop me, while mum was trying to take a picture of Chesterfield.

Ha. That was fun.

My sibs are going fast....

Here's the latest picture - notice that two are already GONE!!! I hope they went to good homes where they get spoiled as much as me! There is even one boy left that looks just like me at that age. He's going to be so handsome when he grows up. Just like me.

My hair is growing, but its been cool here so mum has been dressing me in my Baxter Blanket. So I might let her take some pictures.

It was frosty on the grass this morning - it CRUNCHED. I wasn't quite sure what to make of it since I really hadn't spent much time outside when it was like this. Last winter, I was still spending time in Mom's bathroom, redecorating with my pee pads. Now that I am all grown up, I get to go outside and Mom is VERY pleased.

Monday will be our 1 year anniversary together. I remember sitting on Aunt Gloria's shoulder in the car with her and Uncle Elmer when we pulled into the parking lot in Georgia and I met Mom. We drove all 10 hours back to North Carolina that day. I knew Mum was going to be great because Aunt Kik and Couzin Becca had come by earlier to get my sister Barley and they had told me all about how cool my Mum was going to be and how much fun we were going to have together.

Mums are the best. (Mum inserts - so are Baxters...they are the best friends EVER!)

Got Baxter?

Had the second meeting of the Baxter fan club this weekend. Prez Auntie Laura came all the way in from Texas to preside... just to see ME ME ME! (okay, that Em-me chick might have had something to do with it, but I like my version better)

The hair is not growing as fast as I would like - I expressed my irritation with mum again this morning in the 40 degree weather while I did my business in the yard.

So for your viewing pleasure - here are the latest of my little bros and sisters - you can get your own Baxter dawg at Double Creek Kennel. Auntie Gloria is SO helpful and will answer any questions you might have.
so spread the B-dawg message - get yours WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!

p.s. No garuntee is made to the cuteness of said puppies equaling the orginal Baxter dog. These are merely copies, made from the same genetic material and therefore may not be exact replicas of the Baxter dog. Your mileage may vary. But these are the closest you will get to my perfect self.

Mum's "knit spot"

Mum's internets friend, Laurie, sent out a request for the mass's favorite knitting spot, and I got to star in the photo.

Note: this is pre-shave. Again, not allowing the photos till my hair grows back. crazy woman.

p.s. I don't know why blogger lets mum upload the photos from work, but not the one of Jor-Jor and Em-me. huh. She should probably ask the cats since they pretend to know everthing.

back by popular demand...

Blogger sucks with the picture problem. (updated to add: yea Blogger works!)
Yes, I'm still on strike. The hair, it grows slow. Thanks again, mum. But I bring you another of the many pictures from my stash of the cute.

Here's Jor Jor and Em-me at the horse show I mentioned. They did awesome, especially after they petted their good luck charm (yours truly) Mom says they are riding horses. They can't be horses - those have got to be camels or giraffes things - I think they are giants because they are HUGE compared to my big brother jericho.

peace out homies.

I'm on strike

Mum shaved me - AGAIN. As if once this summer wasn't enough of the embarassment. But now that its COLD outside, she up and does this.

So I'm on strike. No more of the funny blogging until I feel less naked. Here's a cute picture to tide you through. Me and Thomas O'Malley (from the Aristocats).

We play, or we used to before he was too busy laughing at my hair cut.
